SunFlex new energy is a technology company focusing on the field of ultra-light flexible perovskite photovoltaic new energy. Founded by Academician Li Yongfang of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and his team, it relies on the outstanding research achievements of the project team from Soochow University over more than 10 years to research, develop and produce ultra-lightweight flexible perovskite solar cell power generation materials and photovoltaic modules suitable for multiple scenarios. It has now developed into a leading unit for national key R&D program projects under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Science and Technology, an Innovative SME in Jiangsu Province, a Suzhou Gusu Leading Entrepreneur Enterprise, and a Major Leading Technology Enterprise in the Industrial Park. The company has built the world’s first 100 MW-class mass production line (10,000 m²) with an annual output of 6 million pieces, plus two 5 MW-class R&D pilot demonstration lines (5,000 m² each).
